Christmas Cracker of a Quiz!

    Well folks, it's that time of the year when the big fat man empties his sack into your stocking, and I'm not on about Dean Hickin in the showers after a game. It's nearly Christmas!!!

    And boy do we have a treat in store for everyone. After this Sunday's training session at Norton Cricket club, we'll be watching the Man Utd vs. Everton game in the cricket club, and then in the evening it's off to The Smithfield for an extra special, fabulous, Christmas Cracker of a Quiz hosted by non other than Ian 'Headcase' Stanway himself!!!

    As always please be there before 7:00pm as we intend to try and get it underway on time for a change! It's the usual £1 per team member and there will be food and fun available for free!

    Can Planty's Tash make it 3-0 against the Goonies? Will Stanners' family take the title as usual? Will there be enough room for the inevitable crush of people?

    I'd just like to say a big thank you to Ian for organizing last nights excellent quiz.

    Good attendance from the majority of the team and over £120 was raised for the club which puts us in a brilliant financial position. (Maybe TC can update us on our overall balance once he has counted out the coppers?)

    Thanks to everyone who turned up and made it a great night.

    yeah well done ian and the rest of us for turnin up. I brought the tribe out for some surport for my team and they did well pulling me off the bottom from the last quiz to a reasonable mid table finish, So well done my family and the smackhead lookin lad with sliced font teeth aka (sid)...

    Glad we made more money as well. its goin well since we had this pub bring on the new nets or will the craigs nail it all in the summer on there booze weekends ???

    Brilliant quiz night well done Ian and all those who turned up. We now have £387 in the bank. I have asked Ian to sort out putting the team accounts on the web site so you all can see every penny going in and out as it happens. hopefully we can get this for the New Year. Just to put this in context, at this stage last year the club still owed £54. Well done.
