This is some ridiculus analysis but in light of the 1000's website post, I've decided to look at some forum analysis!
Number of posts
The following list is all posts each member has complete:
the gaffer 223

Strange enough, if you add these up, there has been 1277 posts on the website. Somewhere there is a problem (Ian sort it out).
As you can see the top poster is the gaffer with the Stanway brothers on his tail just a few behind!
Top 5 posters
the gaffer 17.46%
CyrixInstead 16.84%
Stanners 16.37%
Askey316 11.59%
psycho 11.35%
These are your top 5 posters on the website. These website geeks have taken up a massive 73.61% of the posts on the websites. I wish I had the time to analyse the sex lives of these cyber-beings!
Length of time on website
the gaffer 01-Aug-07 (463)
Stanners 02-Sep-07 (451)
CyrixInstead 01-Jul-07 (514)
psycho 10-Aug-07 (474)
Askey316 28-Jul-07 (487)
Fordy 06-Aug-08 (112)
bendogg121uk 29-Jul-07 (486)
maskdogg 09-Dec-07 (353)
tom plant 09-Aug-07 (475)
Interceptor 03-Aug-07 (481)
The above table shows you when you joined the website, the number in brackets shows the number of days you have been a member.
This brings me onto the most geeky, sad piece of analysis you have ever seen. Your average posts/day.
Posts per day
the gaffer 0.48 ppd
Stanners 0.46 ppd
CyrixInstead 0.42 ppd
psycho 0.31 ppd
Askey316 0.30 ppd
Fordy 0.22 ppd
bendogg121uk 0.20 ppd
maskdogg 0.16 ppd
tom plant 0.11 ppd
Interceptor 0.05 ppd
*ppd = posts per day
As you can see the gaffer still manages to top this list with Stanners taking over his brother in the true geek stakes. Ian you need to start posting more per day!
Anyway, I suppose I'd better teach these pesky kids. See you later - Fordy

I cant believe what I'm reading!
The gaffer must have gone senile!
How do you expect us to gain promotion into the top division without us knowing our PPD or where we are in comparison with other forum posters.
I bet the Harecastles manager would be raving about the average PPD! lolPosted 1 year ago # -

Im sure you'll find a way mate.
How do you expect us to gain promotion into the top division without us knowing our PPD
Finally! Somebody has found the missing piece of the Smithfield puzzle! PPD's!
Fordy your a legend, maybe not the kind a footballer should strive to be, but a legend none the less. Im just pondering what it would be like in one of your lessons........Posted 1 year ago # -
The average lesson
Damo, I will give you an insight to your average Mr Ford lesson!
You sit there being ignored while Mr Ford checks the Smithfield website. Once he has had a quick browse he gives you your instructions. Usually something along the lines of "make a poster on something you like" or "make a presentation on drugs".
Then the pupils put their hands up waiting for help from sir but Mr Ford is usually busy analysing some absolutely useless statistics or is working out who to play on fantasy football or is on the geo-game on facebook!
Then Mr Ford gets bored and decides to do his job but remembers he has scored a couple of goals over the weekend and decides that it is more improtant than the lesson. He stops the lesson and spends about 20-30 minutes bragging to the kids how good the goals were. He then decides to show the pupils the photos of the Sunday game on the interactive whiteboard and continues bragging until the bell goes!
Then Mr Ford has a snack to recharge and starts again with his 6th form class. This usually works in reverse of the normal lesson bragging > checking the Smithfield website!Posted 1 year ago # -
I'm not sure where you get your imformation from Fordy, but all you have to do is to click on each username to find out that person's information.
My information is as follows:

Plus, FYI I 'joined' the website on the day it was first installed, but for whatever reason my join date seems a little buggered up. I officially joined on 1st July 1970 but as I wasn't born then... and that would make my PPD very low!!

\\Edit - Oh, we've all seen the "I'm a PC, I'm a Mac" adverts? Well, here is the Smithfield Forum comparison!!

There are 10 types of people in the world: people who can read binary and those who can't.

I know mate - I have had to estimate your beginning date, I changed it because I know it wasnt true! Didnt want to knock your confidence with a 0.02 PPD, that would be a sin!

I do not trust that information at all, as I said there has been over 1277 posts according to the individual post counts. It was a safer bet to manually work out statistics to ensure accuracy on the PPD - couldnt live with myself otherwise.
Fordy your a legend, maybe not the kind a footballer should strive to be
Just dont understand this unecessary abuse, Im clearly a legend in all aspects, especially as a footballer! - Unbelieveable.
As you can all probably tell, I'm not happy with my current PPD - working on an increase!Posted 1 year ago # -

Having just finished my weekly telephone tactics conference with the Harecastle manager. I have to apologise to the team on my ignorance on the importance of the PPD. I was informed that their goalkeeper bases his whole life around the PPD, in fact that's the reason he became a Postman in the first place.
Rest assured the PPD will be included in this weeks pre match team talk and it's fair to say team selection from now on will rely solely on players personal PPD's (or should that be PPPPD's)
The PPP (players previous performance), widely accepted by FIFA as the world benchmark, will now become obsolete.Posted 1 year ago #
