How Did We Do?

    Well boys, I excitedly logged onto the Smithfield website for an update on how today's game against AFC007 went, and the place is emptier than the Vale on a Saturday afternoon!!!

    How did we do in the first game of the new Premiership season???? I was on my way back from a hot (32 degrees), dusty market when I realised it was 12:26 back home... just enough time for Fordy to pop another one past the 007 'keeper!!

    Well, I just checked soccerweekend and the excitement's gone. I've updated the main page with today's results, but I have to say from the look of the scoreline that you did well to put 2 past AFC007 if they are anything like last year's team.

    I look forward to an update on my return. Well done boys, let's move on from this!!!

    Hope you are enjoying the hot weather player. Todays game was about our mistakes and being punished for making them. Taking all things into account I am pleased with todays result. With players to come back into the side I think we will look back at this game as a valuable lesson that will set us up for the season.

    Missing from todays squad were.

    The scoreline did not represent the game.

    4 poor mistakes for goals!

    Missed a few good chances.

    Could have easily beat them if we had a little more luck!

    I'll explain the main reason when you get back.
