  • Fordy : Prediction - Game will be off tomorrow!!! Walked the dogs this morning at 11 and Birchenwood was frozen solid. It's colder tonight as well!

  • Fordy : ...but dont forget "player", the ratings are linked to the persons ability, so does that mean that Mask played 8/10 of his ability?
  • Fordy : If we recall, how many times has this been said in the past, "its not the defence, its the whole team", this season, anything negative is the midfields fault...
  • Fordy : More importantly, can we not use the word guys in the shoutbox, its power gay!
  • Cyrix : Guys, can I just point out that major discussions should happen on the thread in the forum, as the shoutbox posts get deleted after a certain amount of time!
  • Tone : the ratings dont really give a performance rating more of a pointing of the finger. maybe its the management that need to be more vocal instead of just passing the book.
  • Tone : "Over run in the middle" yes this may well have happened once again and it was given to the sidelines attention on more than one occasion by myself and other team members during the game and at half time but took until about the 75min befor anything changed.
  • Tone : "Should be more vocal to prevent players being seemingly unmarked and less critical when the inevitable happens because they are". on each of sundays set pieces, as in every game, all of the opposition players were marked by not just me but other team members being "vocal" so how does this become a reason to point the blame at myself when the players lose their man and consequently score???
  • Fordy : ... You did however make a couple of mistakes, pushed one of the goals into your own net where I think you could have done better. Plus kicking was worst its been for a while, some kicks bounced just over the defence and got intercepted.
  • Fordy : Ian in regards to your performance. You did 2 double saves that were excellent. Cant fault those....
  • Fordy : should have bought Mask into midfield but anyone can come out with tactics in heinsight
  • Fordy : that lead to wingers being forced to mark full backs and offer no support to midfield or defence
  • Fordy : Theforwards did us no favours on Sunday, they are supposed to split the centre half and full back to stop them getting forward but just stood marking 1 person

Winger Jones Suffers Injury Setback

Former player of the season Kevin “Giggsy” jones has suffered a sickening blow to his recovery from Achilles heel surgery.

The talanted winger well know for his gracefulness and balance stumbled on a “piece of rough ground” and tore the his Achilles. To make matters worse he has also broken his ankle in the freak accident. His leg is back in plaster and his come back target of March 2012 now seems beyond him.

Best wishes go out to Kevin and his family.
